Interview with Lisa GoshonLisa Goshon is the President of Leadership Group International LLC aka LGI Branding. LGI is a woman-minority-owned, global brand strategist corporation, specializing in the import and export of consumer product goods for safety and new product development for beauty accessories.During the pandemic, they shifted their focus to include creating beauty products with an emphasis on safety and sustainability. In August 2022, at the Bronner Bros. International Hair Show in Miami, Lisa successfully launched their first beauty product, RAXX-4-Wigs. RAXX-4-Wigs is the first “over-the-door” wig rack designed to store wigs and replace those ghastly styrofoam heads traditionally used. Continuing her crusade to create innovative, safe, beauty products Lisa took her ingenuity to a new level. Last January, she partnered with 3M, the global leader in “stick to skin” medical adhesive to create the revolutionary product, “Goodbye Glue." Goodbye Glue are the first "medical-grade" adhesive strips designed to attach false eyelashes. Made with hypoallergenic material, Goodbye Glue strips are chemical-free, last 24 hours, are water resistant and super easy to apply. Not only are they FDA-approved but the safest, healthiest way to apply false eyelashes. The best part is they require no drying time and don't require assistance putting them on.Goodbye Glue is the beginning of many more "cutting-edge" products to come, according to Lisa. Interview with Dr. Yug VarmaDr. Varma is the Cofounder & CEO of Phyla, the world’s most advanced probiotic acne system. He has 10+ years of microbiome research experience including an extensive background in bio-organic chemistry, microbiology, and synthetic biology. Dr. Varma received his scientific training at several distinguished academic institutions, including Johns Hopkins University (PhD) and University of California, San Francisco. His scientific work has been published in many prestigious journals, including Nature. Dr. Varma’s mission is to change the way we treat chronic bacterial diseases, and is working tirelessly to achieve this goal with a microbiome-based technology platform. He is passionate about promoting scientific literacy, and devotes a significant amount of time demystifying microbiome research and making the latest research accessible to the general public. While developing technology, Dr. Varma discovered an application to tackle acne which he quickly realized is a serious problem without a safe, high-quality solution on the market. So he set out to build Phyla and the 3-Step Phyla Phage System, to meet the unmet consumer need for clean, effective skincare and acne-fighting products.Phyla’s breakthrough technology uses a naturally occurring organism called bacteriophage (phage, for short) that specifically targets the overgrowth of acne bacteria. This phage has been shown to flourish in healthy skin, but is nearly absent on acne-affected skin. Dr. Varma decided to democratize this revolutionary organism, put it in a bottle, and make it accessible to everyone who needs it.Links: http://phylabiotics.comhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/phylabioticshttps://twitter.com/phylabioticshttps://www.facebook.com/phylabiotics/https://www.instagram.com/phylabiotics/https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3ZzSy1ZuEzGFfsmG8fve8Q/News from TheTease.comhttps://www.thetease.com/hair-colorist-maggie-phan-shares-exactly-how-to-recreate-objs-new-custom-purple/https://www.thetease.com/salons-can-now-gain-access-to-pattern-beauty-products-thanks-to-the-brands-new-pro-program/https://www.thetease.com/matrix-brings-its-color-pop-up-tour-to-a-city-near-you/More from TheTease:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/readthetease/ (readthetease)Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kellyehlers/ / (KellyEhlers)Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/eljeffreycraig/ (eljeffreycraig)Web: https://www.thetease.com (TheTease.com)Email: VolumeUp@TheTease.comCredits: Volume Up is a Tease Media production.
